Bula! Welcome to
THE BILO BAR CLUB
The Bilo Bar Club is a proud Fijian based registered charity formed in 1981 by a dedicated group of regular visitors to Fiji. From our humble beginnings, The Bilo Bar Club has grown to contribute over half a million dollars of funding and infrastructure to the villages surrounding Yanuca Island.
Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji, has played an instrumental role in the success of The Bilo Bar Club. We thank the resort management and staff for their continued support of our efforts and recognition of our members when they stay there.
Today, our members and trustees are committed to ensuring that our forefathers’ legacy paves the way for future generations and as qualified regular visitors to Shangri-La Yanuca island, Fiji, we invite you to join us on our journey!
“Since 1981 The Bilo Bar Club has been instrumental in funding kindergartens and teachers in the local villages, scholarships for local students, and the ongoing support of resort staff who live locally.”

Our Trustees
Our Seven trustees are elected members whose role is to administer The Bilo Bar Clubs activities and ensure compliance and governance with the guidelines in which we operate.
Our History
In 1980, five Australians were having a drink at the Bilo Bar, a practice not uncommon to them during their many visits to The Fijian Resort. The Bilo Bar, as most know, is located at the Northern Western corner of Yanuca Island.
Our Annual General Meeting
The Bilo Bar Club holds its annual general meeting during the month of October or November in each year immediately after the close of the Club’s Financial Year.
