We wanted to take this opportunity to wish the 3 students from Sigatoka School for Special Needs Education, the very best of luck for their participation in the ‘Special Olympics World Games’ held in Abu Dhabi from March 14-21 2019.
The Bilo Bar Club has kindly sponsored the purchase of personal clothing for the 3 athletes, in readiness for their journey abroad. The Fiji Delegation consists of 21 athletes from around Fiji and 14 support staff.
A mix of excitement and nervousness was filled in the air on the day of their departure at Nadi International Airport. One of the 3 students, will be the flag bearer for Fiji at the opening of the summer games.
