The Bilo Bar Club has been truly humbled by the outpouring of well wishes and sympathy that has followed the sad news of Barrys passing. His family are extremely grateful for your kind words and messages of support also.
We are pleased to share with you two important pieces which were in fact instructed by Barry himself, in his final days, to be carried out following his passing.
Barry had asked that any monies that would normally have been spent on flowers for and travel to his funeral, instead be collected and donated to the Bilo Bar Club in his name. With this in mind we have created a GoFundMe page where you can donate money that will in turn be deposited into the Bilo Bar Club trust fund. Please see below ‘Donate Now’ button.
Details of Barry’s funeral arrangements have now been finalised. His funeral is to take place on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at 11:00 AM (Australia/Sydney).
Due to COVID19 the service is limited to just 50 mourners and as such this has been accounted for by his immediate friends and family to attend.
For those unable to attend in person Barry had arranged that a live video link be made available to view the service. We are pleased to share with you the below link which will offer you the live video stream of the service.
