Bula to all our Bilo Bar Members,
First of all I hope all had a great Christmas and New Year.
For myself I was fortunate to be over at the Shangri-La to spend Christmas with my whole family, along with the Harvey’s and Louis families. We had a wonderful time as always.
Whilst I was over there I met with Ann and signed off on the construction of the new first aid hall for the community, that was agreed upon by members at the AGM last November.
We will be providing F$30,000 with Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa providing the rest.
We are doing very well with subscriptions as we have seen a steady increase in membership.
The Melbourne Cup again was a great success raising over F$8000 for the club.
Our operating account has F$60, 655 as the end of December 2016 and we also have a total of F$219, 743 in term deposits. We will provide an update on our financial position in the next quarter.
