Bilo Bar Club’s Community Investment: Enhancing Local Kindergartens

The Bilo Bar Club trustees have recently approved works that will see all five kinders receive some much needed maintenance.

In May of this year, our team assessed the condition of local kindergartens and identified several areas in need of improvement. We have since secured quotes and engaged a local tradesperson, who will also hire four additional local workers to undertake the necessary repairs.

The planned improvements include replacing broken fences, repairing water-damaged ceilings, fixing tank stands, and replacing guttering, as well as general building repairs and painting where needed. We expect these upgrades to be completed by mid-September.

The Bilo Bar Club is committed to investing FJD 40,000 into our community to enhance the facilities at our kindergartens, providing a better learning environment for the children who depend on them.

Established in 1981, the Bilo Bar Club is a registered Fijian charity founded by a dedicated group of visitors to Fiji. Over the years, we have contributed more than half a million dollars towards various funding and infrastructure projects in villages around Yanuca Island.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji, for their crucial support. The resort management and staff have been instrumental in recognizing and supporting our initiatives.

As we honor the legacy of our founders, we invite you to join us in our mission. Together, we can ensure our efforts benefit future generations. If you’re a regular guest at Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji, we look forward to connecting with you and sharing our journey.
