Bilo Bar Updates – Kindergarten Report – March 2017

Cuvu Kindergarten

There are 22 students enrolled (mostly 5 year olds) and the average attendance is 19.

One of our teachers Laisa Lalabalavu is due to have her third baby in May which will leave us with 1 teacher while she goes on 3 months maternity leave.

The current maintenance of the building is sufficient.

Navuevu Kindergarten

There are 25 students enrolled (9 four year olds and 15 five year olds) and the average attendance is 21. We have appointed the second teacher Tokasa Vivuga. A new sandpit is being built and the current maintenance of the building is sufficient.

Yadua Kindergarten

There are 26 students enrolled (16 five year olds, 10 four year olds and one three year old) and the average attendance is 18. Maintenance of one of the light fittings is in urgent need of repair (this has been organised). The kindergarten desperately needs 20 chairs and 3 tables as they have none of either.

Sigatoka Kindergarten

There are 52 students enrolled (48 five year olds, 4 four year olds and one three year old). Enrolments suspended due to numbers, already have lengthy waiting list for any vacancies, suggestions have been made that afternoon classes to be started and extra teacher be appointed. The current maintenance of the building is sufficient.
