Bilo Bar Updates – Scholarships 2017

The Bilo Bar Trust Fund Scholarship programme that was approved at the Bilo Bar Club Annual General Meeting in 2015, was implemented in 2016 for 10 students undergoing the first year of their undergraduate programme and foundation studies at tertiary institutions around Fiji.

Of the original scholarship recipients 8 have continued under the programme this year. In addition to this another eight students from four schools in Nadroga have received scholarships under the scheme.

All scholarships are awarded on merit on an annual basis and are dependent on results.

Awardees have opted for study in the areas of tourism, medicine, commerce, environmental science and engineering.
